The Product
- What is the AstroStar Journal?
- The AstroStar Journal is a personalized astrology journal generated from your natal chart. It combines a complete natal reading — your Sun, Moon, rising sign, planets, and houses — with guided reflection prompts across seven life areas, delivered as a beautifully designed PDF you can use on iPad or print at home.
- Who is the journal for?
- It is for anyone who wants a structured, astrology-grounded self-reflection practice — whether you are new to astrology and want an approachable introduction to your natal chart, or you already know your Big Three and want deeper prompts for intention setting, relationships, habits, and growth.
- How is the AstroStar Journal different from a generic astrology book or app?
- Every page references your specific natal chart. The cover shows your birth chart wheel, the profile page explains your planetary placements, and prompts are framed around your personal placements rather than generic Sun-sign copy. Unlike an app, you own the PDF outright — no subscription, no ongoing account required.
Personalization
- How is the journal personalized?
- We calculate your natal chart from the date, time, and location of birth you provide, then generate a reading covering all ten planets, twelve houses, and the major aspects. Your name appears on the cover and your chart wheel is drawn on the profile page. The calculation uses the same ephemeris data trusted by professional astrologers.
- What information do I need to provide?
- Your full name as you want it to appear on the cover, your date of birth, your time of birth (as precise as possible), and your place of birth. Email address is required so we can deliver the PDF and send your receipt.
- What if I do not know my exact birth time?
- You can still order the journal, but house placements and rising sign depend on birth time. If your time is unknown, we generate the chart for 12:00 PM local time at your birthplace and note that houses and ascendant may be approximate. For the most accurate reading, look up your birth time on your birth certificate or request it from your local vital records office.
Delivery & Format
- How long does delivery take?
- Your PDF is delivered to the email you provide within 10 minutes of completing checkout. If you do not see it, check your spam or promotions folder.
- What format is the journal delivered in?
- The journal is delivered as a single PDF sized for US Letter (8.5 x 11 inches). It is designed to work in GoodNotes, Notability, and other iPad PDF annotators, and it prints cleanly on a home printer.
- Is the journal iPad and GoodNotes compatible?
- Yes. The PDF uses standard page sizes and embedded fonts, so it opens and annotates cleanly in GoodNotes, Notability, Noteshelf, and Apple Notes on iPad.
- Can I print the journal at home?
- Yes. The PDF is designed for US Letter paper and prints well on a standard home inkjet or laser printer. For the best result, print double-sided on 28 lb or heavier paper.
Pricing & Payment
- How much does the AstroStar Journal cost?
- The personalized natal journal is $29 (USD). Payment is a one-time charge — there is no subscription.
- What payment methods do you accept?
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link. We never see or store your full card number.
- Do you offer refunds?
- Because the journal is a personalized digital product generated at the moment of purchase, sales are generally final. If something went wrong with your order, contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will make it right. Full terms are on our refund policy page.
Privacy & Accuracy
- Is my birth data private?
- Yes. Your birth date, time, and location are used solely to calculate your natal chart and generate your PDF. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing. You can request deletion of your personal information at any time.
- How accurate is the natal chart?
- The chart is calculated from the Swiss Ephemeris — the same astronomical data used by professional astrology software — and is accurate to the minute of birth you supply. The tropical zodiac and Placidus house system are used by default.
Using the Journal
- Can I use the journal as a gift?
- Yes, many customers buy the journal as a gift. You will need the recipient’s name and birth data at checkout, and the PDF is delivered to the email you provide — so you can forward it, print it, or schedule delivery yourself.
- Do I need to know astrology to use it?
- No. The journal includes an opening message and a plain-language astrology quick reference so you can understand the terms as they appear. Prompts are written to be meaningful whether this is your first natal chart or your twentieth.
